The WeMo App

With WeMo you run your home right from your iPhone. The free WeMo app lets you control individual or multiple devices. Turn off a lamp from the other side of the house. Turn on the lights in the living room, from the other side of town. Schedules are easy to set up too—have a heater or a fan turn on half an hour before you get home to make the temperature just right. You can also save time, and money by conserving energy.

WeMo Switch

The Belkin WeMo Switch and the iPhone Home Remote work with the WeMo app so you can turn electronics on or off from anywhere. A lamp, a fan, a heater, curling iron, coffee-machine, you name it. If you can plug it in, you can control it with WeMo. WeMo is completely modular, allowing you to control as much or as little of your home as you like.

The WeMo motion sensor detects and can react to movement, and devices plugged into the Home Control Switch.

Belkin WeMo and the web

Belkin has joined forces with If This Then That (IFTTT), a website that allows you to create fun, simple tasks or by connecting your WeMo Switch and the WeMo Motion to other social media services. For example, you can trigger the lights in your living room your favorite soccer team scores a goal! You can receive an email when the sensor at your front door is triggered. The possibilities are endless.
