Belden’s cabling products are designed for virtually every commercial, industrial and residential application including audio/video/broadcast, networking, enterprise, security, telecommunications and broadband, and wireless.

Ecco Pacific currently represents a number of high profile brands including 3M, Wiha and Vortice and has appointed Matthew Holohan, a well-trained Belden specialist, as manager of the Belden account.

Wayne Hillhouse, general manager of Ecco, said they are confident that Ecco can provide the level of service that is expected by Belden.

“We carry a broad range of products ex stock, including industrial, AV, security and networking cables. And we have representation in every state to promote the brand,” he said.

Ecco Pacific replaces Elpower as the wholesale distributor with Belden’s other distributors, Madison Technologies, Bayview Technologies, Maser Communications, Pacific Data Com, Anixter and Hills Industries, continuing as distributors in their areas of speciality.

Adam Callender, Belden’s regional manager for Australia and New Zealand, said Ecco is very focussed on the wholesale market, is logistically very capable and offers a high level of service to the wholesale market.

“We are confident the Ecco management team and their national network of agencies will be successful in proactively serving the important wholesale and reseller markets in Australia given the majority of contractors and integrators who purchase through them.”
