Avt to release OEM products at AETM Conference
Avt has announced it will be releasing its OEM products, Mezzo and COWS, at the 2017 AETM Conference being held at the University of the Sunshine Coast this week.
These products have been designed and developed in collaboration with the University of Adelaide and the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) specifically for the higher education sector.
Mezzo is a middleware product developed in conjunction with the University of Adelaide that integrates Scientia’s Syllabus Plus time-table and scheduling software into lecture theatre or classroom scheduling panels. This enables universities to display their Syllabus Plus timetable directly on roompanels outside of teaching spaces and means booking panels can now be used to encourage ad-hoc collaboration by allowing students to book unused spaces in real time directly from the scheduling panels.

COWS is a family of flexible mobile technology solutions that was developed in conjunction with the QUT. The first release leverages the AMX Acendo Unified Communications range to provide the latest in collaboration technology where and when it is required, transforming any available campus space into teaching, meeting and learning spaces.
Avt says the development of Mezzo and COWS is an example of the company working closely with its university partners to create solutions to challenges that have arisen with the changing ways of learning.
