avt expands portfolio
AV distributor avt has announced several additions to the suite of hardware and software solutions represented by the company in A/NZ at the company’s Connect event held in Melbourne.
The additions to avt’s range of software solutions include Utelogy’s software-defined audio visual (SDAV) platform and AdMobilize, which enables analysis of people, crowds and objects in real time utilising any camera.
avt chief executive Graham Evans says, “A key aspect of avt’s purpose is to lead our industry and transitioning from traditional hardware-only AV solutions to the more software-centric and data-driven applications being demanded by today’s IT end-user will be key to the success and longevity of avt of our partners.”

“Utelogy comprehensively addresses the requirement our end user, consultant and integrator customers have been bringing to us for software-defined AV and together with AdMobilize, will allow us and our partners to deliver on the coming wave of demand for business intelligence for today’s ever-growing AV fleets.”
Joining avt’s extensive range of AV hardware products and solutions from Harman brands AMX, JBL, AKG, BSS and Crown are the PanaCast 180 degree panoramic 4K USB camera and the Minrray range of USB, HDMI and streaming Pan/Tilt/Zoom (PTZ) cameras.
Minrray and PanaCast are standards-based USB cameras that will integrate seamlessly with UC hardware or software solutions while Minrray’s wide range of cameras provide a highly cost-effective alternative for a range of applications from China’s largest manufacturer of Pan/Tilt/Zoom cameras.
The company expects to launch the new products into the market prior to the end of the year.
