avt has announced an expansion of its range of Harman Professional products in Australia to include the Harman integration and installation audio suite.

avt chief executive Graham Evans says the company will be investing heavily in resources and capability to deliver and build on the customer support, service and experience that have underpinned avt’s success with AMX across the Harman integration and installation audio range.

“We are delighted to expand our partnership with Harman and are thrilled to be able to offer the Australian market a simplified path for support and supply of all Harman installation control, video and audio products,” says Graham.

“The growth in our portfolio allows avt to offer a true One Harman experience to our partners in Australia, leveraging 25 years of AMX audio, video and control experience across Harman’s leading integration and installation audio product suite.”

Harman Professional Solutions announced last week that sales, support, warranty and repair of Harman Professional products in Australia will transition to avt and CMI on 1 February 2018. Warranty terms and inclusions will not be affected.

Harman Professional Solutions APAC vice president and general manager Ramesh Jayaraman says the company conducted an extensive review process, which identified reducing complexity and taking a solutions-driven approach as fundamental processes for improving customer experience.

“The new distribution model leverages over 60 years of collective experience between avt and CMI in the Australian market and will provide customers greater clarity through simplified sales and support structures. Delivering on this strategy also creates the opportunity for further investment and expansion by HARMAN Professional Solutions in the Australian market, as avt and CMI extend their capabilities and support across the entire Harman Professional audio range.”
