The NuForce range of Home Theatre Components currently consists of four components; an AV Processor/Pre-Amplifier (AVP-18), an audiophile grade multi-channel analogue pre-amplifier (MCP-18), and two multi-channel power amplifiers (MCA-20 and MCA-18).

The AVP-18 AV Processor/Pre-Amplifier

The heart of the NuForce Home Theatre range is the AVP-18 AV Processor/Pre-Amplifier which in order to focus on the best possible digital-to-analogue conversion (DAC) performance was purposely designed to only accept digital inputs, permitting the DAC stages in the AVP-18 to include the same innovative technologies utilized in NuForce’s high-end audio DACs, offering the dedicated AV enthusiast 24-bit/192kHz digital audio performance.

Following the digital stage, the AVP-18 continues to offer audiophile-grade performance from its analogue circuitry, which includes a high-precision analogue volume control contributing to the AVP-18’s pristine sonic clarity.

The AVP-18 also supports the latest and most popular decoding formats, such as TrueHD and DTS HD Master Audio, and with four HDMI inputs, two optical and two coaxial S/PDIF.

Its HDMI inputs are HDMI 1.4 compliant with 3D, CEC and SRC support, while the HDMI monitor output also supports ARC, allowing the TV to be used as an additional HDMI input.
