AVPro Edge has released the AC-EX150-BKT HDMI extension kit, for ultra-long signal transmission over Cat5e infrastructure with a range of up to 150m.

With 50m of additional reach compared to conventional solutions, and providing an affordable leveraged legacy network infrastructure to transmit HDMI signals over long runs, integrators now have a clear solution for passing HDMI signals through punch-down blocks and cable splices. ‌

The AC-EX150-BKT kit features a compact transmitter and receiver plus mounting and wiring accessories. The kit retrofits almost any Category cable-based infrastructure and meets 4K, HDMI 2.0 specifications using Cat 5e or better cabling, making it a versatile tool. Additionally, it brings EDID management, 4K to 1080p downscaling, CEC friendliness and RS-232 and IR extension.
