AVPro Edge has released the AC-CX84-AUHD and AC-EX70-UHD-ARC (pictured), a HDMI/HDBaseT matrix switcher and a transmitter/receiver respectively.

The AC-CX84-AUHD solves the issue of slow signal switching times and is an eight-input, four-output HDMI/HDBaseT matrix switcher with quick switch technology. It can switch a 4K@30fps signal in under three seconds and a 1080p signal in under two.

It can display any of the eight outputs through HDBaseT or HDMI outputs which are all completely independent of each other, giving the user the ability to show four sources at once. This feature works seamlessly with the rest of the ConferX line-up for a simplified experience.

Next up, the AC-EX70-UHD-ARC, which consists of a transmitter and receiver connecting through a single Cat 5e, 6a or 7 UTP/STP cable lets users send HDMI signals up to 70m at 1080p and 40m for 4K@60 4:2:0 and 4K@30 4:4:4.

It aims to solve commercial and residential market problems for distributing high-value 4K UHD content from rack to display with the additional ability to send an audio signal bi-directionally through HDMI’s ARC.
