AVPro Edge, distributed by Audio Visual Distributors in Australia, has introduced the AC-EXUSB-3-WP-KIT, a single-gang wall plate that provides USB 3.2 Gen 1 HOST extension functionality. The kit extends USB signals over UTP category cabling up to 100m and pairs seamlessly with a desktop receiver, simplifying professional AV installations.

The wall plate features a USB Type-C data port for connecting laptops and other USB hosts, as well as a dedicated USB Type-C power delivery input that supplies up to 65W to connected devices. This design eliminates the need for separate charging adapters at workstations.

The AC-EXUSB-3-WP-KIT supports USB 3.2 Gen 1, 2.0 and 1.0 devices simultaneously, fits standard US and EU single-gang electrical boxes and provides PoH support to power the receiver via category cable.

It’s compatible with DisplayLink for USB video devices and compliant with UVC 1.5 and UAC 3.0 standards. The wall plate is available in white and black faceplates and comes with a ten-year manufacturer warranty.
