“It has now been proven at thousands of major shows, festivals, events and installations that networking can be easy, fun and robust while delivering outstanding sound quality,” he says.

“The feedback we’ve received from users has been overwhelming and we are proud to have achieved our first and most important goal.”

Meyer Sound director of product and services Andy Davies says that the award-winning MILAN protocol is a fantastic testimony to the work of everyone at Avnu Alliance.

“The way members have collaborated selflessly to create, promote and deploy a solution for the benefit of all our users demonstrates what is possible when we all work together,” he says.

“At Meyer Sound, we are proud to have MILAN at the heart of our solutions, and to continue our work with this award-winning protocol.”

The Best of Show Awards is to celebrate the very best products and solutions on display at ISE.

Factors include how diverse and comprehensive the solution’s features are, how easy it is to use and how innovative and unique it is within industry.

JOYNED chief technology officer Morten Lave says that the growing demand for open-standard media networking is warranted.

“MILAN by the Avnu Alliance stands out as the only protocol that meets all industry requirements, combining precision delivery with seamless ease of use,” he says.
