InfoComm Asia 2010, to be held from 17-19 November at the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre, will feature some 320 AV manufacturers from 27 countries. Occupying some 17,000 square metres of exhibition space on one floor, the event will be a good opportunity for the AV dealers, distributors, designers and systems integrators and consultants to find not only new products but also new manufacturers. They can also connect with Asian end users as 44% of the attendees in the 2008 event came from the end‐user markets.

Asia Pacific: world’s second largest AV market
With the Asia Pacific region overtaking Europe as the second largest pro AV market in the world, according to an InfoComm International market survey, InfoComm Asia 2010 will be a valuable source of new cotacts and education for AV professionals in Asia.

The survey shows that Asia Pacific accounts for 25% or $16.8 billion of global sales and forecasts the region to be the fastest growing over the next three years, at a CAGR of 13% vs 9% CAGR projected for Europe and North America. By 2012, the Asia Pacific pro AV market is expected to reach $23.9 billion, with China, Hong Kong and Taiwan, taken together, having the largest share (32%) of the market.
