Dd6p5uSrsdqAyLG6AZXK7HYWlQofhtDbVDaA1SZHIV4Autonomic has announced an innovative integration between their Mirage Audio System (Mirage Media Server and matching Mirage digital amplifiers) and the Lutron HomeWorks QS total home control system. Now integrators can provide their clients with simple, convenient control of their home audio environment using user-programmable scene presets on all Lutron HomeWorks QS compatible keypads, including the new Palladiom QS keypad.

Designed for the world’s most exclusive residences, the Lutron HomeWorks QS system controls lights, shades, temperature and integrates with third party devices to offer users a seamless control experience. Autonomic and Lutron have collaborated to provide integrators with an astonishingly simple, yet powerful interface for the Mirage Audio Systems. Through the single button press of a Lutron keypad, homeowners will be able to adjust the lights, shades, temperature and play their favorite music.

Clients will appreciate intuitive user-reprogrammable Mirage presets now available on the Lutron HomeWorks keypad, with features such as one button access that will automatically play music in specified rooms at specific volume levels. Changing the preset is as simple as adjusting the content and volume levels with the Autonomic iOS or Android app, and then pressing and holding the desired button on the Lutron keypad to store the scene – much like programming the preset buttons on your car radio. The key to the Autonomic/Lutron integration is simplicity. Use the HomeWorks QS wall-mounted keypads for the most commonly used audio functions and use the robust Mirage user interface for the less often used functions of the system.

“Any technology designer will tell you that implementing a simple but powerful user experience is among the most complex of engineering tasks”, said Autonomic CEO Michael de Nigris. “Together with Lutron, our teams have developed a simple interface that belies the complexity that it took to bring it about.”

“The blending of music and light creates the perfect home environment,” said new business alliances director at Lutron Mark Jenner. “This simple, yet powerful, integration with Mirage Audio Systems provides Lutron customers with yet another way to create memorable experiences in their homes.”
