AudioControl , distributed by Synergy Custom, has introduced The Director models D4600 16-channel and D2800 8-channel high-powered amplifiers for whole-house entertainment. The amplifiers have been engineered to address the needs of integration specialists and deliver high performance from a sleek form factor.

Both D-Series amplifiers have a combination of features, excellent sound quality and fine-tuning capabilities.

The Power of DSP and the Sound Partners Program

AudioControl D-Series amplifiers use technology from the company’s award-winning Director M-Series amplifier line-up, delivering the benefits of digital signal processing (DSP) and onboard digital profiles of popular architectural loudspeakers created in conjunction with engineers from the respective brands.

Both D-Series models produce 100W and 200W per channel for quality entertainment programming. Integrators can tailor the sound based on DSP profiles of leading speaker brands as part of AudioControl’s Sound Partners Program, and then fine-tune these profiles by individual zones based on the acoustic environment.

AudioControl D-Series amplifiers allow integrators to deliver 8-channels of performance from a 1U chassis (D2800) or 16-channels from a 2U chassis (D4600) to accommodate most system configurations.

AudioControl’s DSP engine includes graphic and parametric equalisation by zone and network monitoring and programming. Channels are also bridgeable, giving integrators configuration flexibility for system setup.

AudioControl D-Series amplifiers are available through authorised dealers and integrators in a Black Espresso brushed aluminium finish.
