AudioControl introduces new immersive audio receivers and preamp/processors
AudioControl, distributed by Synergy AV in Australia, has announced details of three new AV receivers and two AV processors which will be unveiled at ISE 2020 this month in Amsterdam. Each of these new products is scheduled to be released in the first quarter of this year.
The Maestro Series of preamp/processors lets integrators create immersive surround sound formats such as 9.1.6 Dolby Atmos, Auro 3D, DTS:X and IMAX Enhanced, with 16-channels of balanced and unbalanced output.

Made up of the Maestro X9 and X7, both models in the series offer the full complement of inputs for connection with the latest AV components including seven HDMI 2.0b inputs which fully support 4K UHD and HDR playback.
It also features the latest in processing with Dirac Live room correction with bass management to overcome acoustic anomalies and ESS Sabre DACs that ensure unprecedented levels of detail and clarity along with earth-shaking, authoritative bass response.
End users can enjoy the app-based control through Google Cast, Airplay 2, aptX Bluetooth and WiFi streaming connectivity options as well as integrated web-based configuration and much more.
The Maestro Series of preamp/processors can be combined with AudioControl’s latest G4 Series and RS Series amplifiers including the seven-channel Savoy G4, five-channel Pantages G4 and versatile 4/3/2-channel fully bridgeable Avalon G4 to achieve the finest home cinema experience possible. RS Series mono amplifiers are the ultimate choice to achieve earth-shaking bass from any subwoofer setup.
Also being released at ISE 2020, the Concert Series of immersive AV receivers is the Concert XR-8 (PICTURED), Concert XR-6 and Concert XR-4. Each of these models is packed with advanced cinema technologies including Dirac room correction and all popular surround sound formats.
The strongest of the three, the Concert XR-8 delivers 9.1.6-channels of HDMI 2.0b with 16-channels of output, seven-channels of high-current class H amplified output at 200W into 4Ω.
On top of the audio quality, these three receivers feature a stunning industrial design and 12-channels of output, integrated web-based configuration, intuitive app-based control, Google Cast, Airplay 2, aptX Bluetooth and Wi-Fi streaming connectivity.
