A truly global technology brand, Wyrestorm has offices in the UK, US, China and Japan, with development laboratories in China and Europe.  Their modern production facilities are based  in Shenzhen, China; a key location in cutting edge technologies and widely regarded the cradle of new trends in the electronics industry, with a wide product range consisting of HDMI splitters, switchers, extenders, matrices, format convertors and test devices.  All products are manufactured to ISO9001 standards and carry a full 3 year warranty.

“Wyrestorm has made a big impact in the US, UK and European markets since progressing from OEM factory to cutting-edge global brand” says residential installation manager Gerrit Ryan.

As a company with extensive experience in HD distribution and control, Wyrestorm is one of the earliest members of the HDBaseT Alliance alongside other industry heavyweights, Sony, LG and Samsung and uses proven Valens HDBaseT technology for HDMI distribution over single Cat5e/Cat6 cable.  Their reputation for innovation and continual development based on common-sense approaches to products that add value within installations now sees them offer fifteen solutions based on HDBaseT technology from matrices and receivers, to extenders of varying distances; and their most recent release, a HDBaseT receiver with digital amplifier.

With diversity and flexibility watchwords at Wyrestorm, HD switching, splitting, control, and extension over almost any distance is possible using various transmission methods, such as Cat5e/6, 75ohm Coaxial cable and single-mode optical fibre.

Applications for Wyrestorm products are equally broad, including homes, superyachts, commercial/corporate AV, banking & finance, education, hospitality, large venue, commercial cinema, government, defense, retail showrooms, museums and digital signage.

Recent high profile installations in the UK include:
•    Harrods of London – Wyrestorm HDBaseT extenders power 180 displays throughout this prestigious and iconic store.
•    Siemens £30m Sustainability Centre – 50 HDBaseT extenders deliver full HD 1080p video and control to each screen throughout the venue.
•    Inchcape Automotive Retail UK – Wyrestorm products central to High Definition multimedia installations within new and refurbished locations, including state-of-the-art Porsche, Audi and BMW showrooms across the UK.

Gerrit adds, “Wyrestorm is an agile technology manufacturer with a high quality, sensibly priced and well thought-out product range. Importantly they are able to provide us with the level of professional support we need to service our customers properly”.
