Atlona DP300
Atlona’s Mini DisplayPort adapter (converter and scaler), the AT-DP300 takes HDMI sources like Xbox360s, PS3s, cable or satellite receivers and Blu-Ray Players and converts and scales the signal to Mini DisplayPort for use with Apple Cinema Displays such as Apple 24-inch, Apple 27-inch LED and Apple 27-inch iMac.
Mini DisplayPort is quickly becoming a common standard due to its open nature. Apple was among the first to adopt this connector but they are not alone. Dell, Collins America, Acer, Fujitsu, Toshiba, Phillips, NEC, and Pioneer all have announced support for the format.
The DP300 is specifically designed to work with Apple’s iMac 27-inch and both 24 and 27-inch LED displays which have MDP input, with resolutions up to 1920×1200 on the 24” models and 720p on others.

“This product will help save innumerable amounts of money for users looking to avoid upgrading their entire computer, based simply on a video incompatibility issue,” says Atlona director of sales Kevin Billingsley.
This unit has the ability to display standard signal at resolutions as high as 1080p, allowing optimal viewing experiences for Mac users looking to play video games or watch Blue-Ray movies on their 24” displays. With this unit’s new design and compact frame, it will easily find its home in the company of other Mac and Mini DisplayPort products just in time for the holiday season.
