ATEN has launched the KE8980MR 4K quad-display KVM over IP multiview receiver.

The receiver supports multiview access windows for up to 16 physical and/or virtual servers across four displays at a single workstation. Users can position the server windows across four screens, resize them as desired and overlay multiple server windows to create a customised monitoring layout.

The KE8980MR features ATEN’s boundless switching MX, allowing users to switch between systems in real time by moving the mouse cursor across displays or windows, eliminating manual switching.

During active monitoring, the KE8980MR can switch to operation mode, featuring panel array that displays up to 108 servers in a 6×6 layout for centralised management and streamlined oversight. It also highlights a selected server with ultra-low latency on a selected screen for precise, realtime control without compromising visibility of the server’s environment.

The receiver is robust and best suited for environments such as broadcasting, air traffic control, surveillance and other critical operations.

“With the launch of the KE8980MR, we’re introducing a game-changing solution for mission-critical control rooms,” ATEN senior vice president Nicholas Lin says.

“By enabling real-time monitoring and intelligent control of both physical and virtual servers across four displays at a single workstation, the KE8980MR enhances situational awareness, streamlines collaboration, and boosts operational efficiency, all through seamless multiview control, 4K60 video clarity and flexible workspace presets.”
