ATEN has launched the US3384i – an 8 x 4 USB 3.2 Gen 1 Sharing Switch designed for BYOD environments.

This switch offers connections to up to eight PCs or laptops and allows the sharing of up to four USB 3.2 Gen 1 devices. It also has fast data transmission, flexible port-switching and cross-platform compatibility (Windows, macOS, Linux).

The US3384i USB has sharing switch streamlines to meet workflows, promotes collaboration and reduces IT procurement and management.

A plug-and-play function allows users to join meetings anytime to assist in hybrid and remote work environments. The switch features a built-in USB 3.2 Gen 1 port with 5Gbps data transfer speed. ATEN also offers a four-port USB 3.2 Gen 1 Industrial Hub Switch.

The US3384i integrates into control systems through serial connectivity to provide a centralised platform to streamline AV/IT management and simplify maintenance.

The USB switch automatically shifts the PC focus to the most recently connected host device, with an illuminated LED indicator clearly showing the active port in control of shared resources.

“This innovative solution enables participants to effortlessly join discussions, share data, and transition into collaborative workflows with ease,” ATEN senior vice president Nicholas Lin says.

“The US3384i offers multiple versatile port selection methods, including front panel pushbuttons, RS-232/RS-485 serial commands and an external remote port selector, ensuring seamless integration with control systems for fully expanded applications.”
