Arcam introduces the AV860 processor

Arcam introduces the AV860 processorArcam, which is distributed by Advance Audio, has announced the AV860 processor, the company’s highest performing processor to date.

It features Dolby Atmos and DTS:X, 7.1.4 support, 4K HDMI2.0a with HDCP 2.2, seven HDMI inputs, thee HDMI outputs and an audio return channel. Control options include IP, RS-232 or IR and it is also Spotify Connect enabled.

The AV860 has DIRAC Live room correction technology, allowing the dealer or end user to tune the acoustic performance of their Arcam system to suit the environment.

The Arcam MusicLife iOS UPnP and Control app enables app control, as well as allowing music to play off a DLNA server, phone or music streaming services such as Pandora and Tidal.

The AV860 teamed with Arcam’s P349 three-channel 200W Class G amplifier for the LCR channels, a P429 for the Surround channels and one more P429 for Atmos will make an astounding home theatre system.

The AV860 processor will be available in June 2017.
