The annual Australian International Design Awards endorse great design and provide the market with a clear indicator of the cornerstones of good design: form, function, quality, safety, sustainability and innovation.

The Design Award recognised AMX’s commitment to applying design thinking principles to better understand user needs and harness the power of a new generation of technology. The user sees more and can do more with the most elegant interface designed specifically for dedicated room control. The Modero X Series provides a beautiful, panoramic capacitive multi-touch screen that provides users access to multiple applications with minimal navigation. The distinctive, low-profile design is engineered to sit perfectly on a table without obstructing views and is designed to enable users to interact with technology in a whole new way.

AMX Australia technology director Graham Barrett says, “We are very proud to accept this award on behalf of the AMX design and engineering team behind the Modeo X-Series range. At AMX, great design has always been as important as great technology and this award is a testament to this continued focus. The Modero X-Series was recognised by Design Australia not only due to its obvious visual and stylistic appeal, judges also examined
its functionality, environmental impact and human factors.”
