AMX expands InConcert manufacturer partner program with Elite Partner level
AMX has proudly announced Panasonic, Sony, NEC and Christie Digital as its first Elite partners.
One of the quicker, easier ways that manufacturers are creating and delivering device drivers/modules is by using the AMX Driver Design tool. Driver Design is an incredible leap forward for the AV industry by offering manufacturers the ability to create, test and post their own device drivers directly to the AMX website. By allowing manufacturers to design their own drivers, they can speed driver creation and delivery for many more products – getting them right to the dealer, quickly.
After successfully using AMX Driver Design, here’s what some of the Elite Partners are saying:
From Christie Digital”
“This is exactly the type of tool the industry needed and we expect to see incremental sales as a result of being able to deliver nearly instant driver support for customers looking to install our projectors with AMX control systems.
“I was able to create a driver and test it on a new projector within an hour of running the software for the first time. The hardest part about the whole process was tracking down the correct projector commands within our own organisation.”
From NEC:
“This latest advancement in module creation for AMX systems allows NEC to provide tested projector and large screen display modules for our
customers before product is released to the market. We look forward to a new era in programming.”
From Panasonic:
“Having the ability to quickly author our own projector control modules on a timely basis is a great benefit. It helps us feel like we’re in control of the process.”
From Sony:
“I have never seen an application made so simple to develop drivers. Others require knowledge of a specific software language and a good understanding of how the control system works. AMX made is easy for me!”
