These enhancements include features such as the ability to verbally activate control functions. Now you can say “turn on the entry lights” and TPControl will instruct your AMX Control System to execute the requested function and confirm when completed with the audio response ‘the entry lights are now on.

Other enhancements include the capability to launch installed applications directly from TPControl; respond to a text message, send an email, or browse web pages without leaving the TPControl environment. TPControl can also dynamically and instantly change profiles connecting seamlessly to different AMX Control systems, such as office or home, from the same device.

TPControl was developed by Touch Panel Control, an AMX Authorised Product Partner (AMX APP), and is the only third party mobile application for control that AMX supports. By working together, TPControl provides a solution that is tested and guaranteed to operate with AMX Technology.

Using a non-authorised mobile application can be extremely problematic for users, especially when changes are made in control equipment firmware. To prevent a customer from suddenly having a non-responsive application, be sure they use the only one approved and supported by AMX, TPControl.
