New products in the line include the AP5: LaunchPort Sleeve to suit iPad Air, which will be available at the end of March; the AM2: LaunchPort Sleeve to suit iPad mini with Retina Display & original iPad mini, also available at the end of March; as well as the CM Air: Control Mount to suit iPad Air, which will be available mid-March.

BaseStation

Along with the additions of new Sleeves and Control Mount, the BaseStation’s finish has changed from a brushed aluminium to a powder coated finish to better suit the aesthetic of Apple components and provide a hard-wearing finish. This is a running change – there is no change of part number.

LaunchPort

The new LaunchPort Sleeves sport a new industrial design with dual wave-guide speaker audio outlets and are the thinnest and lightest Sleeves produced to date.

Control Mount

The Control Mount Air shares the same industrial design as the Control Mount Mini, incorporating a subtle power button in the bezel, sharp corners, chamfered edge to reduce shadow cast and a paint-ready bezel. Most importantly, the Control Mount Air is only 56.9mm in depth.

Using iPort’s VoltPort technology, the iOS device can be powered nearly 60m away from the mounting location over 2-core or CAT cable.
