Alfatron Electronics, distributed by Delsound and Audio Brands Australia, has launched the ALFC-657D. The full range of 6-inch Dante ceiling speakers is sold in pairs as one master speaker (ALFC-657-DM) with a built-in 2 x 30W PoE amplifier outfitted with a Phoenix input.

The speakers use a flush-mounted design that enables them to blend aesthetically into a wide range of environments. The Master speaker provides and amplifies the signal to drive the Slave speaker. Each pair of ALFC-657D speakers is powered via the network PoE switch. The system uses a two-way full-range loudspeaker design with a coaxial HF transducer. The 6.5” woofer features a moisture /water-proof composite diaphragm. A 1” silk dome tweeter with an adjustable angle produces rich mids, delicate highs and a warm, pleasing sound overall.

The ceiling speakers feature a wide, flat frequency response ranging from 65Hz to 20KHz and deliver pleasing and articulate audio quality. The system has a high maximum SPL output of 111dB, providing a commanding sound presence.

Alfatron Electronics’ national sales director and chief financial officer, Kevin Gelman, says the speakers are engineers using premium-quality components and advanced acoustic design techniques to ensure superior sound quality.

β€œFor distributed sound applications such as ceiling speakers in restaurants, outdoor patio areas, meeting rooms and other spaces, the new ALFC-657D Dante ceiling speakers meet the highest standard of performance and durability,” he says.
