Screen Shot 2017-01-18 at 12.28.52 pmAdvance Audio has announced that it will now be the exclusive local distributor of PulseEIGHT – a UK-made HDBaseT video switching system.

With configurations up to 8×8, PulseEIGHT is unlike a lot of the other HDBaseT systems in that it doesn’t require a control system overlay. PulseEIGHT can also work on its own using the existing TV remote through CEC; simply connect your inputs, wire the HDBaseT PoH baluns and using the Source Button on the TV remote, select what connected device you want to view. You can also send control commands, e.g. navigation commands for a Blu-ray’s home menu to select, pause and skip scenes.

The video switching system supports HDCP2.2 and HDMI2.0a.

PulseEIGHT also manufactures a range of CEC and HDMI products, including HDMI DACs, retrofit USB-CEC adaptors, HDMI Splitters, point-point extenders and IP Power Distribution Units. These will also be available through Advance Audio.

Drivers are available for Control4, Crestron, RTI, URC and ELAN.

Other dealer tools include cloud monitoring, allowing the dealer to remotely access any of their registered units to check the health of the system and remotely troubleshoot the unit.
