ADI | Snap One has introduced the Control4 Certified Technician (C4CT) Program, a way for smart home integrators to become Control4 certified.

This program offers an online and in-person version while featuring hands-on learning with a full suite of professional equipment and tools, including networking, lighting, security, surveillance, climate control, audio and video.

“This new certification program is a key step in supporting our customers by expanding the number of highly skilled, certified Control4 technicians in the field,” ADI | Snap One chief revenue officer Ryan Marsh says.

“It aligns perfectly with our Even Better Together initiative and our commitment to invest in innovation by making it easier to develop the expertise of technicians to deliver world-class experiences.”

The training takes on average 50 hours to complete all eight courses with the inclusion of residential and commercial components in hands-on activities and practice labs. The online version is available to Control4 dealerships that meet the criteria outlined by ADI | Snap One.

The in-person training takes place at ADI | Snap One global education centres that are free to attend for the dealer or technician. C4CT content will roll out in the next few months to replace some of the current content to ensure a consistent experience online and in-person.
