CEDIA (the Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association) has launched a a new education course – 3D Audio and Immersive Sound for Home Cinema.
Focussing on new 3D audio formats, this course is suitable for any home cinema designer or installer. The current challenge for home cinema installers is to comprehensively understand all options available and to know which one will work best for different business and client needs. To help resolve such issues, the course will discuss questions such as, ‘what are the design criteria and installation requirements?’, ‘what are the best speaker configurations and acoustic design issues?’, ‘what decoders and amplification should we use?’ and, ‘what are the wiring considerations for new installations?’
Although some previous home cinema design and multi-channel audio experience is recommended, this course is suitable for all levels due to CEDIA’s engaging and instructive environment.
Based at the CEDIA Headquarters in St. Neots, the course will run on 12 June 2015 for one day, with all attendees qualifying for 6 CEDIA Education Units (CEUs). For more information, please visit http://www.cediaeducation.com/courses/designer-courses/3d-audio-and-immersive-sound-for-home-cinema
