It lets users enjoy a wide variety of media from iPod, network or USB devices and is equipped with HDMI 1.4 (7 inputs, 2 outputs) to fully support 3D video from attached 3D sources. This receiver decodes not only Dolby TrueHD, DTS-HD Master Audio and other HD Audio formats but also Audyssey DSX up to a 11.2 system. This gives users a wide, highly realistic spatial expression at the left and right sides as well as the vertical and horizontal directions at the front, allowing for a truly rich 3D ambience of both video and sound.

iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad Integration

For the most convenient multi-room operation, Denon has developed an App called “Denon Remote App” for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. This allows for easy and yet advanced selection of input sources, network content, zone control and more. It is available in the AppStore and supports the new Denon DN7 Network Media system as well as the AVR-3311 and AVR-4311. Further support for iPhone and iPod is provided by a direct digital input via USB allowing for the highest quality audio and the compressed audio restorer function recreates the original harmonics of the music played. iPod and iPhone playback for Zone 2/Zone 3 is also supported.

Enhanced network capability

The AVR-4311 provides internet radio and network audio/photo streaming via LAN, with Last.fm, Napster and Flickr online support (where available). It also supports FLAC HD, the high-resolution lossless audio format. PC setup via Ethernet (web control) will assist custom installers and advanced users, and the remote access & maintenance capabilities will make life easier both for Denon dealers and Denon customers.
