You will have undoubtedly heard that Philips decided to stop manufacturing it’s highly regarded Pronto universal remotes earlier this month.

However, production of the TSW9500 in-wall control unit is still going ahead at Pronto in Belgium and the first shipment is expected to arrive in Australia in around three weeks to be distributed by QualiFi.

At this time, QualiFi will still be supporting Pronto products and its existing customers and has been assured of Pronto dealers’ ongoing support.

It is understood that Philips issued a deadline on offers for the takeover of the Pronto business earlier this week.

Philips is now considering these offers.
