Vantage’s application, connects directly to any Vantage InFusion controller. Once downloaded, users can quickly control many features of their Vantage system at the touch of a button including music, cameras, climate, shades, video, security and lighting control.

Vantage iPad and iPhone Application category overviews:

Utilising its comprehensive audio control capabilities, home-owners can fully manage and flip between home audio sources, including Vantage’s Digital Music Manager (an audiophile-grade music server that stores music collections, automatically seeks out all of the digital music in a home’s network and enables the home-owner to play and control it easily from one interface), CDs, tuners, and more. The application allows users to view and control audio in each home zone – managing power, synching capabilities, music queues, and playlists, as well as volume levels and muting commands.

“Home control should be easy and intuitive,” says Vantage vice president Andrew Wale.

“This means enabling home-owners to leverage pre-existing devices that are already integral to their lifestyles. iPhones and iPads are everywhere. Our customers are thrilled that we’ve extended the utility of these platforms to control whole-home functions.”

Comprehensive Camera Control is another feature of the new application. It allows users to flip between cameras, navigate individual IP cameras, or view all cameras at once, empowering home-owners to observe property activity in real time and from a distance, enhancing estate security and providing peace of mind for travellers.

Redefining climate control for Vantage home-owners, the mobility afforded by the application allows them to monitor indoor and outdoor temperatures and control heat and air conditioning set points while away from home. Utilising this tool, users can easily flip between property thermostats and can alternate between temperature and mode control with LED feedback, making it simple to maintain a consistent temperature.

Similar to the other application functions, the Lighting Control feature manages room light sources remotely and uses a flick motion as a means for controlling keypads and lighting loads. It monitors and commands power sources with a light bulb graphic that intensifies in colour as loads get brighter.

For years home-owners have been able to program thermostats to regular intervals with the ability to adjust home temperatures remotely as the weather outside changes,” Andrew says

“Luxury living means satisfying whims instantaneously to realise and maintain ideal comfort levels from any location, at once. Vantage has made it simple for home-owners to dim lights, change temperatures, manage music, and more from their iPhones, a resource that is nearly always on their person. This is next-generation luxury, available now.”
