Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, Snap AV was founded in 2006 with one goal in mind; to change the way custom installers do business. With over 900 and growing custom and specialist products the Snap AV business model has seen it grow 646% through some tough economic times.

“Snap AV will be useful for custom installers and specialist dealers in Australia with an extensive range of high quality products at competitive pricing,” says TotalQ managing director Rob Sanders.

“Whilst the products well engineered and reliable, we also share the same business philosophies. This led us to Snap AV in the first place and we are optimistic about the relationship, the goodwill and opportunities we can bring for Australian dealers.”

TotalQ will represent the full line of Snap products that include Episode speakers and electronics, DragonFly film screens, Strong racks and mounts, binary cables, baluns and bulk wire, and Wirepath structured wiring products. They compliment TotalQ’s existing custom lines of HAL distributed AV products and RedEye control systems.

“We are very enthusiastic about our partnership with TotalQ as we establish Snap AV as an important player in Australia’s custom channel,” states Snap AV president Jay Faison.

In keeping with this significant step a dedicated Australian website www.snapav.com.au is under development detailing the product offering, Snap AV programmes, product brochures, videos, installer and user guides. In time an online ordering system will compliment these resources with dynamic stock status for 24/7 order procurement.

TotalQ will begin shipping Snap AV products to registered dealers from mid November 2010. Custom professionals and specialists can register their interest, apply for dealer status and browse the product offering by visiting www.snapav.com.au.
