Recognised as a provider of advanced DSP-driven loudspeaker and amplifier systems for high performance home cinema installations, Professional Home Cinema is applying its engineering expertise to a broader range of residential audio installation applications.

PRO vice president Larry Reagan says, “The Pro Audio Technology name conveys a more powerful message to the market—that we’re committed to bringing professional technologies and performance standards not only to the theater, but to distributed audio and other installation applications as well.

“The stronger, more encompassing name will support our sales reps, international distributors and dealers as they present PRO products to their customers.”

The company’s approach to product engineering has produced a full range of systems boasting commercial cinema output levels, unrestricted dynamics and amplifier power levels capable of providing true-to-life performance.

Pro Audio Technology employs digital signal processing to achieve high level frequency response shaping, steep 8th-order crossover slopes, time alignment and advanced boundary effect correction.

All Pro Audio Technology speakers use high-sensitivity horn loaded compression drivers and professional grade woofers. Amplifiers employ high powered class-D technology to bi-amp (or even quad-amp) each loudspeaker with system power ranging from 2500 to as much as 25,000 watts. The result is dynamic and articulate sound that simply cannot be achieved with conventional consumer loudspeakers and amplifiers.

“The brand name Pro Audio Technology accurately reflects the company’s pledge to deliver professional standards in the areas of product performance, reliability and ease of installation and operation to all aspects of the home environment,” Professional Home Cinema president Paul Hales says.

A new PRO logo, website (www.proaudiotechnology.com) and online support materials will feature the new name. The old website will redirect to the new one as soon as it is up and running.
