Verona also has a striking OLED (Organic LED) display, crystal clear from any angle and controls on top of the radio making it especially easy to use.

Verona’s class-leading audio is enabled by PURE’s new Clearsound technology, the latest evolution of PURE’s widely-lauded sound quality engineering.

Clearsound is a digital end-to-end audio subsystem which uses an integrated high-performance switch-mode power supply, high quality Class D amplifiers, digital audio shaping technology and custom-tuned speakers to provide clear and controlled dynamic audio with immense 30W RMS power, while maintaining low power consumption.

Verona also includes an input for an iPod/MP3 player; ReVu to pause and rewind live DAB radio; textSCAN (pause and control scrolling text); Intellitext (browse stored scrolling text); a light sensor for automatic display brightness adjustment; an easy to use tone or radio alarm and sleep timer; kitchen timer; 50 DAB and 50 FM presets; bass and treble control and USB upgradability.

Verona can be run on mains power or taken out and about thanks to the optional ‘fit and forget’ ChargePAK rechargeable battery, which provides 20 hours of portable listening per charge.

Verona includes a dedicated power off switch on the rear for those customers who would prefer zero power consumption to the benefits of standby.
