This year, the 16th Expo is being held in Melbourne (for the first time since 1998) at the Melbourne Convention and
Exhibition Centre.

The new website, http://www.cediaexpo.com.au better informs members, industry professionals and media about what CEDIA Expo will offer and what visitors can expect.

This year’s Expo has representation from the major global electronics manufacturers, high end audio and video distributors, home automation solutions providers, and the myriad component suppliers that make the custom installation industry the number one sector for consumers who want the best equipment, advice and integration expertise to ensure they get the most from their home entertainment, automation and lifestyle requirements.

The website’s interface features segmented content to target four different areas: visitors, CEDIA Awards, education and exhibitors.

• Visitors: Lets you know what’s going on each day at Expo and has an online form that lets you beat the queues at the door on the day/s you wish to attend.
• CEDIA Awards: A highly sought-after competition for members to showcase their custom installations in a variety of sectors.
• Education: CEDIA prides itself on providing second-to-none educators to custom installers in order to further the skills of the industry.
• Exhibitors: Manufacturers and distributors already committed to displaying and demonstrating the latest technology available in this region of the world.

This year, CEDIA Expo is joining forces with the popular DesignBUILD exhibition so attendees will experience a wider product range backed by quality information, allowing them to explore new ideas with the view of implementing them in their customers’ homes.

A media room will be available for registered members of the media for Expo’s duration.
