ISE 2027 to explore the future of residential technology
Integrated Systems Europe (ISE) 2027 will return to Fira de Barcelona, Gran Via, from 2-5 February, under the theme ‘When Worlds Unite’. The event will explore the convergence of residential technology with smart buildings, hospitality, energy management and connected living.
For residential integrators, smart building consultants, architects, interior designers and technology professionals, this convergence is changing how technology is specified and integrated into living spaces.

Co-owned by CEDIA, ISE 2027 will examine these developments across its exhibition floor and education program, giving residential professionals the opportunity to explore new products and consider how wider advances in the built environment could influence future smart home projects.
The Residential and Smart Building Zone in Halls 1 and 2 will bring together technologies for connected spaces, including access control, environmental management, energy optimisation, smart lighting and shading, security, AV entertainment and connected infrastructure.
The zone will feature residential brands including ADI, Control4, KNX and Lutron, showcasing developments in whole-home control and automation. Premium audio brands Sonos, Bang and Olufsen, FOCAL and NAIM, Dali and Genelec will also be represented.
The zone will give visitors the opportunity to compare solutions and explore how control platforms, networks and system design can bring different technologies together. Topics include how systems can be integrated more effectively, how technology can be incorporated earlier in the design process and how connected homes can deliver long-term value.
Education will also feature prominently in ISE 2027, with the event’s content program covering trends and developments influencing residential project design, delivery and management.
The CEDIA Smart Home Technology Conference will cover technologies and trends shaping the residential integration industry, while providing opportunities for attendees to exchange ideas and develop their technical knowledge.
The free-to-attend CEDIA Smart Home Technology Stage in Hall 2 will feature expert speakers and industry innovators discussing issues and ideas relevant to technology professionals.
The Smart Spaces Megatrend will also return in 2027. The 2026 program explored topics including energy management, AI-driven automation and cybersecurity in connected environments, offering visitors insight into developments influencing the industry.
Beyond Halls 1 and 2, ISE will feature dedicated spaces for experiencing residential and premium audio.
The Listening Suites will return to CC2, providing an environment for visitors to experience high-fidelity audio equipment from leading brands, discover new products and explore audio applications in luxury homes and specialist listening spaces.
The Audio Demo Rooms in Hall 8.0 will offer another opportunity to experience audio systems in purpose-built environments. More than 20 dedicated rooms will host demonstrations across the four days, showcasing new audio technologies and allowing visitors to compare systems in controlled listening conditions.
