Chowmainsoft has launched a Control4 driver for RISCO’s LightSYS+ hybrid security system, allowing integrators to incorporate the security platform into Control4 projects and give users control of key security functions through the Control4 interface.

LightSYS+ supports up to 512 zones across wired, wireless and RISCO Bus devices, up to 500 users and up to 196 outputs. It also features onboard IP and WiFi connectivity, with the hybrid platform designed to support new security installations as well as projects combining existing infrastructure with security and automation systems.

The Control4 integration is designed to bring professional intrusion protection into wider smart home projects, allowing security to be managed alongside systems such as lighting, climate and entertainment.

The driver provides home automation integrators with a way to include LightSYS+ within unified Control4 environments while retaining the dedicated security capabilities of the RISCO system.
