CEDIA senior vice president, membership and global development Wendy Griffiths says this year’s entries demonstrate that smart home technology is about more than the equipment visible to home owners.
“This year’s finalists capture the spirit of ‘Beyond What You See’, demonstrating how smart home technology is shaped by far more than what is immediately visible,” she says.
“The creativity, technical ingenuity and attention to detail behind these entries show the everyday impact our members are making; enhancing comfort, convenience, connection and quality of life for homeowners across the region.”
A global panel of industry experts assessed the entries against category-specific criteria. Depending on the category, judging considered technical execution, design integration, innovation, business performance and overall impact.
“Their insight is essential in recognising the outstanding work shaping the future of smart living across the region,” Wendy says.
The 2026 CEDIA Asia Pacific Awards ceremony will be held on 28 October at The Island Gold Coast boutique hotel in Surfers Paradise. Secure tickets here.
