McIntosh has unveiled the MX124 AV Processor, a home cinema processor supporting immersive multi-channel audio, 8K video and the latest HDR formats.

Designed for premium home theatre installations, the MX124 features 13.4-channel audio processing, seven HDMI inputs, three HDMI outputs and supports 8K/60Hz and 4K/120Hz video, along with eARC/ARC connectivity.

The processor is compatible with Dolby Atmos, DTS:X Pro, Sony 360 Reality Audio and MPEG-H Audio, while Dirac Live Room Correction with Bass Control helps optimise system performance for individual listening environments.

Video support includes Dolby Vision, HDR10+ and Hybrid Log-Gamma (HLG), with built-in streaming compatibility for Apple AirPlay, Bluetooth, Qobuz Connect, Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect and Roon Ready.

For custom integration, the McIntosh MX124 is Control4 Certified and includes installer-friendly features designed to simplify system configuration and integration into smart home environments.
