Belden has completed its acquisition of RUCKUS Networks, expanding its networking portfolio and strengthening its position as a provider of end-to-end IT and operational technology (OT) networking solutions.

The acquisition adds RUCKUS Networks’ enterprise networking portfolio to Belden’s existing offering, including WiFi, enterprise switching and AI-driven network management platforms. Belden says the combined portfolio will enable it to deliver broader networking solutions across enterprise and industrial environments.

Belden says that RUCKUS Networks’ technologies complement its existing products and will support customers modernising their network infrastructure while addressing more complex connectivity requirements. It intends to retain RUCKUS Networks’ existing innovation, customer support model and channel approach while leveraging Belden’s broader scale and industrial presence to expand its capabilities.
