CEDIA will run a full-day RP-32 workshop at ISE 2026, providing hands-on training in measuring and verifying audio system performance according to the RP-32 Recommended Practice. The session will give professionals a structured framework to ensure systems meet both design goals and client expectations.

Led by industry experts Peter Aylett, Ben Goff and Adam Pelz, attendees will work directly with measurement tools and software to gather reliable data, interpret results and document system performance in a consistent and professional manner. The workshop is open to both residential and commercial professionals, and international CEDIA instructors are encouraged to attend so they can implement these standards in their regions.

“The RP-32 workshop is all about closing the circle. Taking the promises we make to customers about system performance and using measurement and engineering to verify that we’ve delivered on them,” CEDIA volunteer chair of education Peter Aylett says.

Upon completion of the workshop, participants will be able to apply the RP-32 methodology to audio systems, perform objective and repeatable system measurements, verify that system performance aligns with RP-22 parameters and clearly document and communicate results.
