Cleerline Technology Group has introduced two new fibre installation accessories, based on feedback from residential and commercial integrators. The LC multimode and single-mode UPC connectors are available in two-packs. Updated version of the LGX-compatible rack enclosures will now feature improved cable management.

“Our bulk 10 and 25 LC connector master packs are great, but installers frequently terminate duplex (two-strand) fibre with two connectors at each end. These new, smaller packs are much easier for them to handle,” he says.

“Additionally, our new rack enclosures add features that simplify the installation process while also making it easier for technicians to service the fibre infrastructure for upgrades or maintenance.”

Cleerline LC connectors are compatible with 250µm, 900µm, 2mm and 3mm fibre cables. Each connector features a large confirmation window for easy verification and a V-groove channel for easy fibre insertion. Cleerline LC connectors are compatible with all SSF fibres as well as all traditional 50/125 multimode or 9/125 single-mode fibres.

Based on installer feedback, the Cleerline LGX-compatible rack enclosures move more freely from the cable harness due to a redesigned opening, lined with brushes to thwart dust. The backplate provides additional tie-downs for incoming cables and a secondary plunger creates a stopping point for the enclosure tray sliding in either direction. Available in 1RU, 2RU and 4RU, these enclosures are ideally suited for telecom closets, data centres, remote distribution terminals and residential installations.
