Chowmainsoft has released a driver that makes Blustream products, including the PWR4IEC, PWR8IEC and PWR8VDC, Control4 compatible.

The PWR4IEC and PWR8IEC models are professional-grade power distribution units with four and eight outputs. Those are ideas for installations that need robust power control and monitoring.

The solutions have surge protection, real-time monitoring and advanced scheduling capabilities for connected devices. It’s suited for rack-mounted AV setups to offer convenience and centralised control.

The PWR8VDC is an eight-output DC power distribution unit designed for low-voltage devices such as networking devices, media players and other AV sources. Each output supports an independent voltage adjustment to compensate for potential drops over extended cable runs.

The unit also had individually switched USB ports for better flexibility for powering or controlling USB-based devices.
