Chowmainsoft has released the free manufacturer-sponsored Primare SP25 and SPA25 driver, versatile multi-channel integrated Nice Home Management amplifiers and processors designed for cinephiles and audiophiles.

SPA25 Prisma offers nine channels of amplification, delivering up to 810W and supporting 4K dynamic HDR switching, eARC, Dirac Live and eleven-channel Atmos/DTS X processing for immersive 7.1.4 cinema configurations.

For audiophiles, the SPA25 features dual eight-channel DAC chips for superior digital-to-analogue conversion, enhancing stereo performance. Its adaptive power supply delivers significant power, allowing for the bi-amping of the main channels.

SP25 Prisma home cinema processor builds upon the foundation of the SP25 Prisma, providing a superior 11-channel control centre for use with the A35.2 and A35.8 amplifiers to provide exemplary music and movie performance.

In addition to their audio capabilities, both SP25 and SPA25 Prisma incorporate Primare’s proven Prisma network player platform, offering complete streaming functionality and multi-room/multi-zone options through AirPlay2, Bluetooth, Chromecast, Roon and Spotify Connect.

The Prisma application, combined with the onscreen setup menu, allows for easy system customisation and control of network-connected hard drives and streaming services like Tidal HiFi and Qobuz. Dirac Live Room Correction enhances audio performance by optimising frequency and phase response, providing precise sound quality for both two-channel and multi-channel listening.

Customisable input and speaker setup preset offer personalised control to suit any AV preferences.

The Nice Home Management driver functionality for SP25/SPA25 models offers IP control, Prisma Streaming source pre-mapping and a settings page with features like surround mode, volume adjustment, mute control, input selection, power management and surround mode configuration.

Additionally, the driver provides feedback on volume, mute status, power state, input selection and surround mode settings.
