These new systems offer the same easy connectivity as the original CineMate speaker system and have been updated to deliver improved acoustic performance for movies, music and sports.

The new CineMate GS II systems build on the category pioneered by Bose with its acclaimed 3•2•1 DVD home entertainment systems ‐‐ offering consumers much of the performance benefits of a five‐speaker surround sound system from only two speakers and an Acoustimass module. Proprietary Bose TrueSpace digital processing circuitry helps produce a broad, spacious sound experience from a variety of audio and video sources ‐ without the need for rear or centre channel speakers.

A new optical input accommodates a 5.1 audio stream, delivering deeper low notes, more immersive sound and improved dynamic range. Also, a new bass control provides the flexibility to fine‐tune low‐frequency performance.

The systems easily connect to a television. There is no need to reconnect other sources already attached to the television, such as a Blu‐ray player, DVD player or cable/satellite box. Integrated amplification and signal processing reduce the need for additional components.

The CineMate GS Series II system features two premium Gemstone speakers and includes a universal remote that can control the system, a television and most attached devices.
