Designed for professional installers or do‐it‐yourselfers, the new 791 speakers provide consumers with an elegant, easy‐to‐install in‐ceiling audio solution that delivers high‐quality Bose audio performance ‐‐ sound is reproduced with more spaciousness, detail and depth than many conventional in‐ceiling speakers.

Engineered to work in pairs, each 791 speaker combines a 7‐inch woofer and two tweeters to provide Bose Stereo Everywhere performance. This allows sound to be distributed evenly throughout the listening area and helps eliminate the “hot spots” ‐‐ or harsh high frequencies ‐‐ that can occur with many in‐ceiling speakers. As a result, listeners can arrange the room with more freedom and hear balanced, spacious sound wherever they sit.

Installation is straightforward. Four clamps are used to secure each speaker into the ceiling: a small molded arrow on the frame indicates the correct orientation, and a simple twist of the grille snaps it into place. This design requires less force to install than conventional, friction‐mount grilles, resulting in easier installation with a reduced risk of denting or marring the grille.

Virtually Invisible 791 speakers are compatible with stereo and home theatre amplifiers with a power rating of 10‐100 watts per channel and a resistance of 4‐8 ohms, including the Bose Lifestyle SA‐3 and SA‐2 stereo amplifiers.

The exterior grille size of the speakers measure 10 inches in diameter, and the speakers’ new grille design can be painted to match almost any ceiling.
