Legrand | AV has announced its new On-Q AC1060 Shelf Mounting Bracket, which is designed to extend the mounting flexibility within the company’s innovative structured wiring enclosures.

The Shelf Mounting Bracket provides a vented, stable surface to rest and secure third-party devices inside the enclosure. It is perfectly suited for heavy or tall devices that need additional support, such as ISPs, modem routers, connected hubs, and more.

The AC1060 is rated to hold devices weighing up to 10 pounds. It can be installed in a standard or an inverted orientation (plastic enclosures only) and is compatible with Legrand’s plastic and metal enclosures such as the On-Q Dual Purpose Enclosures and the SANUS In-Wall Media Boxes.

The AC1060 is constructed of durable, WiFi-transparent plastic to ensure seamless communication between wireless devices in the home. It also leverages the same unique hole pattern that is available within many of Legrand’s enclosure accessories and cable management solutions, which is designed to give installers a multitude of options to secure devices quickly and easily.

Available in single or a bulk pack of 10 (AC1060-10), each shelf comes with two sets of plunger/grommets to secure it into the enclosure and 2 feet of hook-and-loop straps to ensure devices needing extra support are secure.

On-Q product manager for Legrand | AV, James Rutherford says installers are often challenged with properly supporting the array of AV and network devices that are needed in home installations.

“Our shelf mounting bracket is simple to install, strong, and sturdy enough for heavy or tall equipment. It adds another layer of utility and reliability to our structured wiring enclosure line-up.”
