Versatile for any installation, the Omnivore has three selectable polar patterns: omnidirectional for use in small-to-medium spaces, sub-cardioid for display in a huddle space and cardioid for the lecturer on a podium.
“KM-2B can be installed and configured by an individual with minimal audio expertise,” Kramer director of audio Yuval Kramer says.
“The switchable pickup polar patterns will help the user get excellent results in minimum time, allowing simple trial and error and providing totally flexible installation.”
Yuval was the brainchild of the Omnivore KM-2B who wanted the ultimate flexible corporate microphone offer which is simple for anyone to master.
On top of its flexibility, the sound quality is paramount. A selectable high-pass filter at 120Hz helps it avoid any ‘boominess’ or table noises. The two microphones in the device can be summed into a single channel or output two separate signals.
Additionally, a boost mode of an extra 12Db of mic sensitivity gives users an important gain stage if it’s too far away from the speaker.
