Crestron has announced its new control system, the MC4-R which aims to expand the reach of Crestron Home to small, mid-size and MDU projects.

“The MC4-R is designed for ultimate flexibility,” Crestron senior manager product management residential solutions Jason Oster says.

“It can control hundreds of devices and packs dazzling performance and industry-leading security into a convenient form factor at a great price.”

A secure and high-performance four-series control system, the MC4-R is designed for ultimate flexibility and powered through PoE; it has a full complement of built-in control ports and includes an infiNET EX wireless gateway.

It can be surface- or rack-mounted, and its small size even allows installation behind a TV.

When coupled with the CP4-R, it represents Crestron’s latest fast-powered residential control systems offering which is ideal for any sized project.
