AVIXA has launched the AV Experience Awards which aims to celebrate the ability of AV technology to enrich experiences.

The award categories aim to showcase how thoughtful design and execution achieve the projects’ distinct goals.

The award categories are: Best Dynamic Art Experience; Best In-Person Experience; Best Individualised Experience; Best Immersive Experience; Best Flexible Space Experience; and Best Collaborative Experience.

In addition to the professional AV community, AVIXA is also soliciting partner end-user vertical markets for award entries. Award entries may be submitted by anyone involved in the project, whether project originator, creative or technology agency, or the customer.

AVIXA chief marketing officer Dan Goldstein says: “AV technology has the power to enhance how we experience the world around us – from how we shop, bank, attend sporting events, check into hotels, and so much more. We created the AV Experience Awards to applaud the remarkable ways professionals are designing and applying AV technology to a multitude of diverse environments.”

Entries are open until 5 February 2020.

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony during InfoComm 2020.
