Transformer manufacturer Torus Power will unveil its new POWERBLOCK product line at ISE 2018 in Amsterdam. With the introduction of POWERBLOCK (PB Series) toroidal isolation transformers, Torus Power aims to accommodate smaller AV systems including home theatres and two-channel audio systems.

Torus Power products magnetically isolate equipment from unclean AC power and aim to reduce the noise floor, enhance the dynamic range, and improve the soundstage and headroom to elevate the audio experience. This power isolation technology also aims to increase the clarity of picture in high end video systems.

The new POWERBLOCK PB 4 CE for the European market and the POWERBLOCK PB 4 515R, which will be available in Southeast Asia, isolate outlet pairs to separate source components from power components, which promise a cleaner signal from AV setups. The PB 4 CE and PB 4 515R models are designed for 50Hz markets between 220V and 240V and weigh 35lbs (15.8kg).

Torus Power have also introduced the PB 2 CE and PB 2 515R, which are designed for smaller AV setups that only require the protection of a few source components, such as a single set of speakers, projector or TV. Like their slightly larger counterparts, the PB 2 CE and PB 2 515R operate at 50 to 60Hz with an input voltage between 220V and 240V, and weigh 25lbs (11.3kg) each.

Torus Power products are distributed in Australia by Network AV.
